I have been a HUGE Sox fan for as long as I can remember. I swear I practically grew up in the Right-Center bleachers! Being a collector for as long as I've been a Sox fan, I want to see everyone's prized possessions. To start things off here's one of my most cherished cards. My mother bought it raw for my 13th birthday, and I had it graded a few years back. Enjoy!

<< <i>Beautiful card Von. Was that the one I was watching on eBay recently? >>
Thanks, I thought so too! If you were watching it on eBay recently, it probably was the same one 'cuz that's where I bought it from. Only about $20 with shipping.
The Ted Willams litho "Homerun" was done by Armand Lamantagne, who is a famous sculptor from Rhode Island. There are only 2 in existance, and mine is #1. The litho was given to Barry Halper by Armand and it hung in Halper's house for sometime before he died. It was put up for auction by his estate in 2005 and I won it in a Robert Edwards auction. It is a fabulous piece! The signature is about 9 inches long. It was one of Halper's favorite pieces, so said his wife, and that is why it was not sold until years after his death, per his wishes. It is a remarkable piece, real museum quality. I have 35 diffferent signed williams pieces, and it is by far the best. I do not know where the 2nd litho is located.
BTW, not that there is anything wrong with it, but are you walls really that pink?

PM me. There probably are about 45-50 Sox total from 74-76 and 50 from 1980 topps. Tiant, Cecil Cooper, Cepeda 1974 topps. Maybe even a Carbo or a Drago....In 1980, all the stars are there. Rice, Yaz, Pudge, Alan Ripley.

(not) very funny on that Buckner card!
A few eyars ago my daughter was only 6 and I was going thru some Red Sox cards. I saw an '87 Fleer Buckner card and got so pissed I rippe dit intl 20 pieces/ My daughter did not understand my anger, so the next day she taped all the pieces together to form the card again...very funny and I still have that taped card.
And I have forgiven Billy Buck since 2004!
