Looks like at least 45 details to me... these were notoriously weak at the tips of the feathers so that doesn't bug me. I'm seeing diamonds on the ribbon and a separated lower hair curl but the shadows in the pics really prevent me from going any higher with out the coin in hand. The color looks a little dark-brown to me but it could just be the shadows...

It all depends upon your grade targets for your set. If you are looking for nice EF-AU coins, it fits. I'd say the piece is probably an EF-45.
If you are doing an Unc. set, it's no where near Mint State.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I'll venture EF45, possibly recolored - possibly not.

Well until I get to the 1861 dollar, then a good beat up, bent scratched, whizzed $1000 coin will have to do.
<< <i>Nice looking coin, from what can be determined in the photos. Looks AU to me. >>
I agree, looks better than xf45

<< <i>Based on the photographs.. XF45-AU50... cannot tell about color/cleaning etc... assume you can in hand. Cheers, RickO >>
I do not own this coin. But I might, I just wanted some extra opinions on it.
