I enjoy the precious metal posts in the coin forum, but agree that they can be at times distracting.

    Note...it's not a free pass for pure PM discussion! I suspect that stuff needs to be taken to kitco or apmex or something.

    But, since most of my cheap common date coins are pretty much tied to the value of bullion...I guess this is my new home.

    I would have left it be as now it's just more work to seek out the latest coin related news. What next ? A seperate forum for silver coins, gold coins, platinum coins, etc.... ?

    Now, is PCGS providing a new forum for PM discussions an indicator that gold will continue to fall in price? You know, when everybody, including the shoeshine boy, is talking maybe it is time to sell or buy or something? image

    maybe - i have seen it happen to other forums, yet i think it's a good idea here, but there are a tonne of other forums that specialize in bullion and precious metals, some of us have an interest in both bullion and collecting this a good place and a good idea

    all we now is a "modern crap forum"...lol
