I have read about the "next give away" someone please enlighten meimage

    1.) As a new member once you hit a post count of 50 it's the norm to give away your whole collection on the forum.

    2.) You'll soon rebuild a collection by winning other giveaways.

    It's simply an act of generosity for the help the board gives you. Give aways are great, but don't feel any obligation if it's a financial strain.

    Each time you do a giveaway, you feel a little bit better in your collecting image

    Hello julie42 and welcome to the board!

    Basically, when a member reaches a milestone (such as their 1000th post) or they feel like giving a little back or they just want some good karma, they'll give away a coin to the board members.

    Just some fun... and it's better to give than receive!

    I've just started a new giveaway contest. See my sigline. Some contest questions to answer with some MS Half Dollars as a prize.

    I'm trying to be a good forum citizen and keep the contest/giveaway in the specially marked forum. This will hopefully bring me that intangible PCGS karma that is so desirable.
