Dad brought home two boxes of half dollars from the credit union and guess what we found???

My brother is holding two Franklin Half dollars, I am holding a walking liberty half and a 1964 Kennedy half, and there is another 6 1964s and $12 worth of 1965-1969s!! And we haven;t even started to look through the rest to fill up our Kennedy album!! We are going to have fun!!

Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

    Nice finds Brie!!!

Last time I searched a box of $500 halves I found 1 '64-D Kennedy and 1 '67 40% silver. Lost all my motivation to get another box since I'm still trying to spend the remaining $499 of halves!!! Posts like yours make me want to run out and try another $500 box though image Have fun!!!

    Wow! Congratulations!

I cannot remember ever finding that many out of two boxes and I've done my fair share of searching!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

  • Welcome and congrats on the great finds!!!

As a fellow roll searcher, I know how you feel. Try searching boxes of nickels and pennies as well, there's a lot of cool stuff to be found in those rolls as well.
