I just found another one of my dad's stashes-it looks to be from 1973(!). That was the newest thing in there. Not too much special in there, the highlights were a darn near perfect, still new looking 1973 Penny, better condition then I already had pennys from 66-73, my first 1970S penny, a 1971 Netherlands Penny and a 1921 British Florin. I also found in there a 1969 Penny with toning. I have seen pictures of toning on the board but I've never seen it in person before last night,
I also found some errors, or at least I believe to be errors. I did take pictures, but they aren't great, and I have not uploaded them yet. I'll post them when I upload them.
Please see the following new improved photos that were taken under cloudy skies (gray) evening light. (This updates an earlier photo post of this same coin on this thread).
I think that I finally did the coin the photographic justice that it deserves.
Here are two freebies from TwoKopeiki over on the darkside forum- Awesome, thanks again!! (Mexican eight reales, which I believe technically circulated legally here in the US until the 1850s?)
Which then prompted me to purchase this hammered Mexican reale(1536-1556)
While I'm at it, here's a hammered Charles I shilling (1625-1649)-
And back to the states, here's my set of three Arizona quarters (die varieties?)
Yep, 'LeeG' seems to have some pretty darn nice copper!
Here's part of my most recent acquisition (uncirculated mint sets) and a question. What are these called? I didn't feel the question important enough to start another thread about it...

I wanted to get a closer look.

Got it today and I like it. Got a few coins in my stash with similar toning.

Just like I don't collect gold (US) quarter eagles, I don't collect these either.

This Walker was the result of a hunch bid on a raw Ebay coin. I picked it up for $56. It now resides in a PCGS 66 holder
Now, if I could only find out some more info on it......maybe its (hate to use this overused word ) RARE?
