Well he seems like a pretty smart guy and has tons of advice in my opinion. Last night he had a roll of 20 "O" mint Morgans in BU condition of which 16 were different dates. I think his show is on Friday and Saturday nights. He usually offers the high dollar stuff on his show alot of the time. Last week he had 1881 and 1882 CC Morgans in GSA's. Great looking coins in my opinion.
Its a fun show to watch for laughs. Everything he offers can be had at 2/3 to 1/2 the prices he asks. But then again, I imagine his overhead is sky high.
Most of the time his stuff is priced WAY too high...although I do enjoy watching him better than some of the other shopping networks. The best value I have ever seen him do was $29.00 for an MS64-MS65 Mercury dime...guaranteed to be from the 1930s...maybe still a bit high priced, but nothing like the crazy priced Morgans he does.
He was selling $5. Gold Commems last August 2007 for $269. Lately he's selling the same coins for $389. He use to have some blonde sidekick Laura. They must have blown her off when she was giving "too good of deals "away. I enjoy all of these coin shows.... for entertainment purposes only.
