Got this in the mail today. It's the last card I needed for the 7 card Vic Janowicz Master Set. I'm going to send it in soon. Hope It pulls a 2. You don't see this card with good centering very often.
"The Sipe market is ridiculous right now" CDsNuts, 1/9/15
Thanks! I picked up a lot of about 200 of these on ebay and I was fortunate that when they arrived they were in great condition. Half of the cards are slightly off center side to side, but the other half were razor sharp beauties.
The Eckersley was bought from a mail order dealer around 1989/90 if memory serves me correctly for less then $4.
<< <i>Barf: Those are way too well centered for you; I'll gladly replace with some miscuts if you like. >>
Yeah they really don't fit with my collection very well.
Murray and Smith were in a paper bag full of 78's and 79's that I traded for back in 1990. Surprised they survived considering how the previous owner took care of them. Montana is from a set I picked up from a member on this board. Sandberg was in a star lot from eBay (think it was 150 cards) that I paid less then $5 for and the Canseco is from one of two sets I picked up from eBay as well for around $3.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
My favorite thread, I look forward to this every Saturday. Here are three cards that have been seen here before (a RonB special) but would like them to grace the presence of this thread.
RonB, I just remembered an earlier BST that you had in which I wanted two cards. I had forgotten I did that but I can't find that thread (I think it had a 61 and a 62 card in there).
can anyone help me post pics on here i have some nice raw but i dont know how to post them on here? thanks...i can do them through ebay but im not sure how to post on here...

Edited to add: Lee, I'll trade you the Berra for the Belle, straight up.

Some of the 66's may be on the BST board later this weekend. I'm rounding up some stuff to put on there and haven't decided on those just yet.
