No feedback as a seller yet, his only feedback as a buyer that is viewable (not private) is for a 1 cent purchase.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. Will’sProoflikes

Member for 14 months with no feedback and suddenly racks up 18 feedbacks over eight days. And I gotta feeling those were just those one cent feedback purchases for the sole purpose of building feedback. Either this could turn out bad or maybe the seller was just trying to build some quick feedback so that people won't be nervous with bidding on items from a seller with zero feedback. I'm thinking the latter...and I'm thinking the seller wasn't thinking when selling the plat. Congrats on the win, BTW
Somebody needs to report this scammer. The auction I linked above is photo-shopped. The grade in the auction title does not match the one on the slab.
I don’t know if his screwing up the picture is intentional, like a Jedi-mind-trick of some sort.
Also states only 325 minted, but that is incorrect. The Mint State have unlimited mintages unlike the 2 oz proof gold and platinum bullion that have mintages of 150-200 per year.
eCoinquest, i hope you did not pay yet. The paypal buyer protection states up to $200.
Way too many red flags with this guys auctions, and feedback. E-bay member since Nov-04-06, but all feedback within 8 days of each other in Jan 2008.

Coinworld.com article: "Beginning in 1991, Australia released large-size bullion coins that share the common "Red Kangaroo" design. The coins are available in 2-ounce, 10-ounce and 1,000-gram sizes with unlimited mintages. The first year, the face values were $500, $2,500 and $10,000, respectively, before decreasing the next year to $200, $1,000 and $3,000."

OHHHHH BOY! Sorry coinquest. If it looks too good to be true......well, you know the rest.
The way I look at it is if this seller doesn't deliver then I will go to Paypal and get my money back. If he does send it, then I will make $500+.

Its listed as "Gold", but the pic shows a plat piece......makes you wonder huh?

you could be setting up another forum member for quite a problem.
if they search for stuff on ebay themselves and buy it by themselves...
fine.
but to advertise an auction like that on this forum... ugh.
hokey is right.

I disagree, the winning bidder still has to make up their own mind whether or not to pull the trigger.

Look at his other auction. 2 oz ms69 the slab says MS68 but he describes it as MS69.
Also the picture is fake, he has the reverse showing in the front of the slab and the obverse on the back side.
I collect the 2oz proofs, can post some pics of ngc graded coins when i get home.

I'll know better next time.
eCoinquest,
Hope the seller just claims an error in listing and nothing comes out of it rather than you having to go after your money back if he doesn't deliver.

Any how it looks fishy but until proven I like to think positive. Although I also would not have bid.
