    Well, cherrypicking is nice! image

Actually, I don't have very many 'classics' left to swap/trade/tag.
    LOTS of moderns though.
So, I wanted to know what kinds of coins would be in the tag.
I don't want to swap my modern clad for classic silver, I just don't think it would be fair.
And if there weren't many coins I felt comfortable trading for, would it make sense to spend $20+ on shipping to trade $50 worth of coins?

Hope that all makes sense to everyone.

Looking at the list, there are some moderns thrown in, & I do have some silver in the same denomination, so....

    I'd like in. image

    BORROWED FROM BSTAT1020:

"A big box of coins that the person starting the tag sends out to someone. That someone takes out coins that they want and replaces them with coins of equal or greater value and sends out the box to the next person. So on and so forth and back to the person that started the tag.

That is about the most simple definition I can come up with. "

    Picking order contest idea...
    Sunday's Playoffs!?

Winner & score for both games.

Only problem is that not everyone wants to go first.
Maybe choice to go first or pass goes to the winner, then the next closest, so on & so forth until there is a order established.....
    image
  • TC71,

I know I haven't been involved in a tag as yet. Would you let me enter? You know most of the certified coins I have, since you traded them to me. (minus what has already been used)
BUT if it would be welcome I have a 1986 3 coin Statue of Liberty commem set. I don't have an outter box. just an incert with the specs of the $5 gold proof coin. And a few other certified coins.

No hard feelings if you feel I should wait longer before getting involved in tags.

OK!!! I am back and this COIN TAG gets kicked off tomorrow!

    The Rules:

    1. Please list contents of TAG box when it ARRIVES and before it LEAVES. with all changes made by you of what you have taken and replaced.
    2. Keep TAG box no longer than SEVEN days, so that we can keep this is a timely fashion.
    3. trade upto $500 if you desire. If you want to do more PM me and we can discuss it.
    4. PCGS/NGC Slabbed Coins ONLY!
    5. Ship VIA Registered Mail ONLY!
    6. Post Tracking Numbers when package has been shipped.
    7. Values for PCGS coins are rated VIA the PCGS Price Guide, NGC coins will be 80% of PCGS Price Guide.
    8. A Cash purchase option is available.

    SHIPPING, CUSTODY AND LOSS:

The wholesale value of the box is $3,200.00. You are fully responsible for the care and custody of the coins in your possession. If the coins are lost or stolen, you will have to reimburse for the full predetermined value of the box, $3,200.00, so, please be careful! The coins will be shipped REGISTERED and INSURED mail in a NEW, USPS FLAT RATE BOX, no exceptions. You can get free boxes from your PO or you can order them for free at the PO website. Do NOT ship "certified", and do NOT use UPS, Fed Ex, etc. These services do NOT cover losses to coins! • I will also leave some strips of the correct tape with the coins just in case anyone lives out in the boonies like I do and cannot find any.

ps....I will promise to leave at least 1 CC in the box.

Does anyone after me also need tape?
I have a big roll & can leave some strips if needed.
Staples is just about the only place that I have found that carries that stuff.
    image
  • I have 3 Staples stores in the area. So finding the tape should be easy for me. One thing that does upset me is: Some of the coins I wanted to use are unworthy. My Anniversary ASEs are getting the plague. image

But I've already PMed TC71 and taken steps to get more coins I can use, without returning coins he traded to me earlier.image

for saying they would leave a CC coin in the box. But I may opt for lower value coins. No matter how much I would like my first CC. I'm not putting any effort into my Morgans at the moment. And they are some of the highest value coins in the box.

I'll just have to see when it's my turn. Hurry, hurry, NO take your tme. NO hurry,,,,Take your time.
