Possible reason for more reverse proofs:

Opened or not they would get the 10th anniversary designation.
And I ain't lying this time.

I just received my coins back from PCGS. 2 sets submitted on January 4, marked as received by PCGS on January 7, back in hand 3 weeks later.

    I ended up with 1 70 set and 1 69 set.

I can't see any difference between the RP 69 and the RP 70 coin, they both look pretty impressive.

I can see a difference between the PR69 and PR70 coin, minute, but enough to justify the grading difference IMO.

The boxes are probably the nicest coin boxes I've seen from the Mint. Which is good, since they cost me about $250 each.

I also paid for the trueview photos. For the cost of the submission, it was worth a few extra bucks for that, they look great.

I know that the 69 set has no value over issue price, and maybe something less... but the collector in me trumps the investor on this one.

I'm holding on to it. It's a nice looking set of coins.

Just got submission results: received 1/30/08--- shipped 2/15/08 pretty decent turn around time.

Update on 2007 platinum anniversary sets people, got a call today from a supervisor out of Texas, different one that told me that they we NOT!! going to sell anymore of these sets, now this jerk asked me what I wanted to know, I told him I wanted to know if I could buy another set.

This is what will happen, the set will be released in a few weeks after the adjustment price is made final by the mint and yes you will be able to buy another one. I asked how many more he said all he knows is previous buyers will be able to buy another one and new buyers will be able to buy more than one?

I don't know if the $hit is true, but this news will really &uck up this set.

Get this there were over 700 returns because of Credit Card problems, damages and people that didn't want/like them. Now who will get those damage sets? What a croc huh?
