Plats sell at a rediculous premium just as bullion, many wholesalers charging 8-10% over spot. 5-6% over is a good gauge for selling as bullion. $1590 currently with the juice.
Capitalize on the 70's early. I believe we have another holder rarity in the making - not in the RP but the Reg Issue 70 DCAM Anniv Set FS label.
Would I spend stupid money to get one? NO.
Would I want to make one at PCGS and sell it? YES. >>
Plats can be purchased at spot, no doubt about it.
Ive, purchased virtually all of my plats at around spot or slightly under, including a 2004 1/4 ounce proof platinum.
I snagged that one on the bay of e for $300 with a BIN in 2006. Sit back and wait to pounce. The deals always come around because good luck is when preparation meets opportunity.
<< <i>I think the Mint should have made a $100 coin instead of making people buy 2 $50's. A bigger coin would look better. >>
Got to agree with LALASD4 on that one. I collect the full oz size also ( a lot easier for a blind one to see ). If they had offered a single 1 oz coin I think it would havebeen priced about the same as (2) - 1/2 ouncers.

<< <i>**Platinum at $1,537.00 - hard to believe it, but I'll take it.**
Heck, Plat hit $1544 today. I think it will hit $1550 by the end of the year easily.

1 Per, still in effect.
Doesn't hurt to try.
