What, non-Euclidean geometry discussions involving Pine Tree Shillings aren't interesting? I assert that nowhere but here will you find such enlightenment (for better or for worse, anyway).
  • Now that coin won't pop out of the album hole on you, and the up side is it doesn't have any tape residue on it from when many people stop a coin from falling out by taping them into in the holes !! image
  • Well Dave.... your response certainly "nailed it" (on the head, too) ~ image

Neat! Do you have a straight-down shot on that Spanish coat of arms? Perhaps any legend elements remain?

Very interesting. A shadow that moves perpendicular to the light.
  • Isn't this your lucky day! There are always interesting things going on all around us everyday, just for the asking ... and you asked!

How about this little article, apparently Saturn's moon Enceladus has an ocean that does not contain sodium. It just doesn't make sense scientifically. Here's the link for your enjoyment!

Sweet Lord .... now I can't even trust my brain. I've even started to be able to change it's rotation by focusing on the lower right hand corner of the image for a second to get it to change. At first I thought it was the gif changing, but no ... it appears my brain is broken. Thank you so much for pointing this out to me!

    There you go:

    As for the ballerina:

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

  • Hey TwoKopeiki ~ I took an online test offered by Stanford's psychology department (I think it was) which seems to be pretty much identical to the BBC's Brain Sex I.D. Test, which gives you a composite score that indicates whether you are more "male" brain or more "female" brain, and to what extent...... I scored a big fat ZERO (neither male nor female).... LOL

  • Einstein's Logic Puzzle
So you want a hard brain teaser! Well, here it is.

It's purported that Einstein said 98% of the world's population could not figure out this logic problem. Try your hand at it.

    A logical question.
There are 5 houses each with a different color. Their owners, each with a unique heritage, drinks a certain type of beverage, smokes a certain brand of cigarette, and keep a certain variety of pet. None of the owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigarette or drink the same beverage.

    Clues:

The Brit lives in the red house.
The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
    The Dane drinks tea.
The green house is just to the left of the white house.
The green house's owner drinks coffee.
The person who smokes Pall Malls raises birds.
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
The man living in the center house drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
The man who keeps a horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The owner who smokes Bluemasters also drinks beer.
    The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water.

    Who owns the fish?

  • << <i>Who owns the fish? >>

The GERMAN owns the fish (and, BTW, it's a Walleye Pike image )

Of course, because the beer drinking Swede in the white house always puts down his bluemaster cigarette before petting the dogs.image

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
