$2 each, any of the cards in the scan. each card contains four players. other cards available with different players. Forgot to add, these are "VINTAGE 1991"
So this new seller on eBay has downloaded the scan of the card from my sight, and he is attempting to sell the card at auction. The genius is advertising the card as being "super rear". Here's the link to the eBay auction:
He has no feedback, so the auction appears to be going nowhere, despite the fact that he seems to have his own shill account in the bidding mix. I've reported the auction to eBay as a fraud --- not sure if eBay will pull it or not.
His other card for sale, a Warren Spahn 1948 Bowman ROOKIE, is also mine. He claims that card is also "super rear". You gotta love it!
Thought this was a place to advertise vintage cards that are for sale or up for trade, but 95% of your posts in this thread are just bragging posts of cards that HAVE ALREADY SOLD.
<< <i>It just looks that way because I have gone back and edited some of the posts for new cards once they were sold. >>
Last 5 "SOLD" posts were not edited. You just posted a recently sold card. Not to mention, I am personally tired of seeing you buy cards on eBay just to post them here and jack up the price.
If you are so tired of reading my thread, just stop opening it (---Oh, I see, you just can't resist. You're addicted to it and can't help yourself.). As several others have mentioned in earlier posts, they do enjoy the thread. So I'll continue.
You probably should move this thread over to the B/S/T forum ... since this forum is supposed to be just for sportscard trading.
In the past, I'd also posted a couple of my "cards for sale" threads over here too. I didn't think it was a big deal at the time because the forum didn't seem too active. But as it turns out, that's just because most of the trading and responses take place through PM's and e-mails. There's actually quite a bit of behind the scenes activity over here, and it does bother quite a few of the traders when "cards for sale" threads are posted here. I was politely informed by several traders that I was being rude, ignorant, greedy, and selfish by continuing to post my sell threads in the trading forum.
You see, WE ALL have cards for sale too. And if just 5% of us did what you're doing ... it would completely monopolize and ruin the TRADING forum.
So please join the 95% of us that refrain from selling their cards on this forum. Cut and paste this thread over to the B/S/T forum where it really belongs. That way the guys that like it can keep reading it. The guys that don't like it - won't have to see it anymore, and as a nice bonus ... you'll probably sell more cards!
Added the following 1932 Babe Ruth Bulgaria Sport tobacco card to the website. (Babe is seen pictured with German heavyweight boxing champion Max Schmeling)
A few have commented that they enjoy the thread --- seeing what cards have recently been added and which cards have sold lately. The site and the thread constitute an online, vintage baseball card diary of one man's journey to build a significant collection of some of the most sought after cards. Every card in the collection is always up for sale, but the proceeds keep getting poured back into the collection via new acquisitions. So the collection is very much a living, ever-changing entity.
It is sometimes very hard parting with a card. That '33 Hornsby was one that I particularly liked. Apparently, someone else liked it more. So it now rests in a display case that he keeps at his law firms office.
When I post a card as SOLD, it's my way of documenting that I once owned this terrific piece of history.

Any FOOTBALL?
I have thought about adding Football to my website, but can't seem to find the time to catalog everything. Have a bunch of raw cards.
For now, I'll keep focusing on Baseball.
If you want to throw me your top 5 or 10 off your wantlist, I'll have a look and see if there are any hits. You might be surprised.
