Forgot to mention coin is in NGC plastic, and pic taken with 10x loupe. My pic taking abilities, along with my inferior equipment need a boost once in awhile.
Guess NGC gave it a market grade of MS63. I see a lot of friction in the obverse field so technically its no better that an AU58.

I agree that it is really an AU58, but I can easily see it in a MS62 or even a 63 holder under today's standards. I don't think I can give that coin a sticker in good faith.

Congrats to all those who said 62. Coin in hand, looks a minimum of 63 to me. This is one of those coins whose price nearly doubles with the 1 point move. Thats why I asked your opinions. The concensus thinks it is overgraded however, so in its tomb it stays for now.

It is also really hard to tell from your photos how much chatter there is in the fields. NGC could market grade it to 63 but from the photos you provided it looks to be 62. You should go to a show or two, take yours with you and compare it to some 63's.

I sold one a while back that was a 62 and looked almost identical to yours. I'm gonna say MS62.
