anybody getting the 4th President dollar coins today

i picked up 8 rolls at my bank and looked at a few
but most of these will be spent

good grief !!!! - i would think the mint would get rid of the saggy eyes

Hey, Snowman.

Picked up two rolls today, but haven't looked at them yet. The woman had to go back to the vault to get them, and she first came back with Washington, Adams and Jefferson rolls ... I had to ask her to keep looking. I like the dollar program and think it's fun, but then I'm not one of the big-time collector types ... I just think they're cool and I enjoy using them. I keep a roll of each. I pull a few of the nicer examples (I don't find many of those) and spend the rest.

I got one roll at the credit union where I work. I've just been getting one roll of each. So far, I haven't
opened any of them.

Four rolls for me today and only twenty coins left from that after my local coin club meeting.

I picked up 4 rolls today. I exchange the presidential dollars for face at most of the shows I set up at (w/ a limit of 5 each). The primary reason is that prarents/grandparents/etc. can come to a show with kids and can't end up over paying. The kids are happy getting the coins, and the adult is happy with the price

Has anybody found any in the Boston area? I came up empty at several banks. My bank said they ordered them and received old dollars instead.

I glad to hear there are some around. I was afraid the Boston fed didn't have any yet. Sharon is a liitle bit of a hike for me. Hopefully they will show up here shortly.

So, you just jump into a thread on a coin series you don't collect just to make snide remarks about it? Sounds like you should seek some help. This is a serious series that due to the ineptness of the Mint will become much sought after 20-30 years from now. Maybe you don't have enough time to wait.

There are already 2 members that posted on this thread to slam the series. It seems to me that if you don't like it then you'd avoid the threads about them but maybe you're just jealous or just like making stupid remarks about coins you know nothing about? Geez, I get tired of the "modern" bashers.
