Absolutely the most disgusting-looking piece of coin jewelry I have ever seen.

Bleeeeeeechhh

  • The wearer of this ring would be in a class ALL BY THEMSELVES.

...but what do I know, I'm just a boy.

Of COURSE it's ugly. They used a Morgan dollar instead of an attractive coin.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

I wonder how their house is decorated? It would probably go unnoticed at a black jack table.

I love itimage Is it gaudy? you bet, Is it ridiculous? for sure, Is it tacky enough for me to buy? Im seriously thinking about it.
  • SO...... Who's going to bid on it and check if it's a CC?????

Maybe the seller is a forum member who got the idea from Russ' avatar.
  • I used to sell a little jewelry. You'd be surprised how many women would love to buy something huge and gawdy like that. I should have carried more ugly rings like that, would have made more money.
Who the heck would want a penny from 1909? *chuck*

Yeah, that's just gross. I would have to point and laugh at whoever I saw actually wearing it.
Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.
  • Wow! that is gross. The back of the coin/ring looks like they used bondo car body filler to hold the piece of junk together. I noticed on the big fat hand model, the finger nail appears to be falling off, nice touch. Maybe she should have used some bondo on the nail as well.

It is actually a slide for a scarf... Cheers, RickO

Come to think of it, that's exactly right from what I can see. They just cut out a portion of a standard ring and soldered it on the back. Didn't even bother to take out the old wings. image

LOL. I was thinking a napkin ring, but now I see it. image

A very horrible looking trinket to be sure. Long John Silver wouldn't even wear that on his peg leg. image

I've seen gold dollars used for rings but a Morgan is just too freakin big for a ring (unless you're a pimp, of course).

Considering the many many fine pieces of jewelry that the Navajo have produced, I have to wonder if this piece was a requested item. Like a special order.

The idea of this kind of thing is to distract the other players so they make bad poker decisions. You and that ring would be their worst nightmare....image

That's one helluva piece of bling! image

Actually, it wouldn't be awful as a hatband or belt buckle piece, but it is hard to imagine wearing on a finger!

Dang, what a letdown. That actually makes perfect sense, and wouldn't look so unusual. (In places like Texas or New Mexico, anyway.)
