Went to the beach last night and found LOVE.....

Hit another down town Chicago Beach last night from 10:30 to 1. got the usual about 50 or so coins then I got a can signal and out pops this beauty!
BLING!!!!
18K white gold with 27 diamonds. I'm at the firehouse today so in the morning i'll get the weight.

15 minutes later I got this ring.

14K white gold about a .20 ct stone with 2 smaller Sapphires.

    Im in the 4th dist, 3rd plt (anything more specific will have to be a pm). I live over on the Eastside though. I had a metal detector about 5 years ago, a radioshack cheapie. Hated all the digging in dirt in parks for pop tabs, so went to Oak St beach one day. Paid $3.00 or something to park in the lot, and found about 38 cents clad in an hour and a half. Where in the hell did I go wrong? Some of your finds are truly outstanding! I especially liked the plat ring you found recently. No side job here, and nothing but free time on my hands, we should definately hook up one of these days.
