  • I'm selling incrementally now, 1/4 to 1/2 ounce per week of modern crapola. I bought approximately 15 ounces of modern crapola on the rise from $350 to $600. Now is the time for me to slowly divest it over the next 12 months. Some may say to hold it longer but I am happy with the profit at this level so I say SELL!! Hopefully I can turn it into some classic gold half eagles like this one

Those ASE's probably won't be as affordable as they use to be if silver rises anymore.

  • you are never wrong taking money off the table - bought gold when it was cheap and will wait until it doubles ($900/oz) - take the original investment and leave the rest to ride out the bull up, up and away - GO GOLD!!

I just sold 14+ ounces to a forum member over the weekend at $775/oz. Hmmmmm, should have,
    could have, would have!
Actually, I'm quite fine with it as my cost going in was about 1/2 of what I sold. Take some and leave some
    is what works best.

    Question please,
What about listing the silver and gold this Sunday for a seven day listing? On Ebay.

Or three day to end this Sunday?

Do you think it will make a large difference?

If you are selling bullion, a ONE day listing, to avoid the violent swings that often occur during runups such as the one going on nowimage

I collect silver and gold coins (even a little platinum). I sell Stone Coated Steel roofs.
The latter allows me to buy the former.
  • He didn't follow his own advice when he admits he got out too early with MacDonald's and Petro China....to name few. He made a fortune on Petro China, anyway. But, even Buffet can't time the market.

I'll most likely sell a little closer to the election. Once the market figures out who will Win the vote, metals could decide to change direction.

    And silver.
  • I bought my AGEs back in the late1980s for about $230 an ounce. I was going to sell an ounce on Friday ($796) and checked here first. Everyone says we're in a bull market so I decided to wait. Thank you everyone. As long as it keeps going up and further up I'll hold awhile. If it hits $1,000 soon I'll sell all I have.

EBay's not a great place to sell bullion. You'll get gigged for listing fees, final value fees, PayPal fees, and the buyer will discount the bid bythe shipping. Better to do BST with "Spot+" price.
