I'm waiting on 5 specials, each entered on July 2. I've said it before and I'll say it again: when they're done, they're done. They are busy, and I'd rather they take their time and do them right. I think they're making an effort to get them done within 45 business days, and hope they get mine done within that time frame.

I expect to hear about mine in another month. My experince with these specials is always 2 calendar months. Yes its a pain to hear that someone else only waited 2 weeks, but thats life. What I hate is waiting 8 weeks, then another week for shipping to find around 10% of the cards mislabled.

I've been waiting on 26 vintage cards since 7/2. I emailed a couple times and was basically given the run around. Gotta love that customer service model. Basically "we'll get to it when we get to it." I wish I could treat my customers that way and still get business every month.

The POTA's were from Ebay, The LaFontaine and Kelley were Ebay. The Killebrew was raw from bilbauskins on Ebay. The McRae was a GAI 9 crackout. The 78's were from a group of Ebay Racks that have now yielded me 8 or 9 10's and 45+ 9's. The Jimmy Key was another from a Leaf set I bought from BBCE for $5.00. It is the 4th 10 I've gotten from that set. The Gwynn was from an OPC set I got from BBCE--$15.00. The 86's were again from a set from BBCE for $5.00 and the 87 Ryan same thing...

Overall surprised. Figured the 86 Fleers would be mostly 8s with an occasional 9 (at $5 a card figured why not take a shot). The 61 Fleer cards were from a pack I ripped on my birthday in April (the other 2 cards were too damaged by gum and wax residue to even bother holdering). I'll continue ripping one 61 Fleer basketball pack a year on my birthday until I pull a Wilt rookie. All the PSA 8s and 10s are available for sale.

Seems to me that everyone who submitted early 1960s baseball (and probably football) in the June special are still waiting for their grades. The modern subs that were logged in July are popping, but the vintage subs posted recently seem to be logged in mid-June.
Graders are swamped from the special and the show submissions, I guess.

I'm on business day 33. I DO NOT buy into the BS about the cards are in a submission affecting the turn times. A NM card is a NM card whether it was printed in 1965 or 2007. Unless a submission is full of exceedingly rare cards, which most are not because of the $75 limit, that is just a cop out by PSA for their poor service.

This will most likely be my last paid submission as I will probably be getting 2 free vouchers when they tell me for the 5th time that my mint 1968 OPC Stargell's are too small.

Very frustrating to see submissions logged 3 weeks after mine get graded.

YankeeFan, that is a logical explination but my sub was logged in on 6/28 with 27 modern cards and still no grades. There have been others whose subs were logged in 7 or more business days after mine that have grades already. Doesn't make any since at all. I mean how freaking long does it take to grade 27 cards? I could see if my June special sub was 75-100 cards, but 27? Come on. I just don't understand their methods some times.

She said that they are trying to get them done in 45 business days or less but that many already have gone over 45 from the June special. So it looks like us late June guys still might have another 2-3 weeks.

Many have gone over 45 days, but many have been far less and were submitted after ours!

I could accept it if they would give me a straight answer.
