Sri Lanka Jasmine 7th Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting - 2008 FDC

Sri Lank Post is very strange, their post offices don't work at weekend, but they issued this set on 26th April (Saturday), and processed this FDC on 28th April (Monday).

Israel 60 Years of Independence FDC

1. Israel Post made a big mistake on this FDC, the regular airmail postage from Israel to China is 5.25 Israeli New Sheqel, but the total postage of this FDC has only 4.50 Israeli New Sheqel, this is not the only mistake from Israel on this issue day, I will update the other wrong postage FDC from Israel next time.
2. This FDC was sent by regular mail, so the Israel Post added a machine postmark on this FDC, interesting! also,

Portugal Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Minisheet FDC

Poland The Meteorological Phenomena FDC

This set was issued on 25 April, the stamps on this FDC were cancelled by "25.04.2008" special cancellations. But my friend sent this FDC on 13th May, 18 days after issue day, and he only added 1.30 Z£ definitive stamps on this FDC. That's meaning the cancelled stamps' postage is still valid after 18 days, and I think it could be longer than 18 days, do you know how long about it?

Romania Beijing 2008 Olympic Games FDC

I'm so surprise that my Romanian friend wrote (painted) my Chinese address on this FDC.
This FDC has two shortcomings:
1. The postage overpaid, the registerd air mail postage from Romania to China is 9,10 L, but my friend paid 10,00 L for this FDC;
2. This FDC was not sent on issue day (01.05.2008), although the Romania Post permitt the official FDC to be sent after issue day, and I also don't know its valid time as Poland FDC. Do you know that?

Indonesia Special Needs Education FDC (Braille)

Thailand Important Buddhist Religious Day (Visakhapuja Day) FDC

Hong Kong Paper Folding Fun FDC (special cancellation)

This set has 6 stamps, my friend only glued the $2.40 stamp on this FDC because it's the regular air mail postage from Hong Kong to Mainland China. Hong Kong Post has a strange rule, special cancellation only for regular mail. That's why my friend made this FDC for me.

USPS had changed their new postage rating since 12th May, 2008. The one ounce First-Class Mail® International (except: Canada, Mexico) had risen from 90 cents to 94 cents. This is the first 94 cents stamp, I must thank my friend Jay who sent this FDC from the U.S. Virgin Islands, far from the US mainland. He also sent a First Day Postcard to me.

Malaysia 100th Anniversary of the St. John Ambulance Malaysia FDC

This is my first FDC which was damaged during the postal way. I should refuse this FDC when the postman delivered it to my home. But I was not at home at that time, and my family signed it in. I had told them if they deliver a damaged FDC to my home again, they couldn't sign it in again, must refuse and ask compensation.

Italy Molise FDC

I don't know whether my comment is correct, but I still want to comment it. The main design of this stamp is the Fraterna Fountain which is located in Isernia town, but the special cancellation for this stamp only used in Campobasso, far from Isernia town. I think It would be better if the special cancellation had used in Isernia.

Poland VII EUROSAI Congress in Krakow FDC

I think this FDC looks very harmonious. You could see 6 former host countries' flag-button on the Illustration of FDC, and the current host country, Poland's flag-button on the stamp which is enlarged. There are all same styles.

Estonia My Stamp - Narva Hermann Castle FDCs

Eesti Post used 2 different special cancellations for this set as usual. One was in Tallinn, the other was in Narva, the castle on this stamp is located in Narva. My friend made both special cancellations for me. The Tallinn special cancellation's FDC reached to me on 31st May, only 9 days. But the Narva special cancellation's FDC reached to me today, it costs 26 days. You know, I worried whether it had lost, finally..... I'm happy now.

Slovakia Beijing 2008 Olympic Games FDC

Because it has a woman long jump athlete on the stamp. I guess whether her prototype is Galina Dmitriyevna Chistyakova (born July 26, 1962). She is a Slovakian and the Women's Long Jump World Record Holder.
