Argentina 100th Anniversary of the Discovery of Oil and Gas in Argentina FDC

2 Months, this FDC had a very very long trip, if it has a franking label which prove the FDC was sent on 24th Nov. 2007(issue date), I couldn't imagine it is a real posted FDC.

According to PostEurop Plenary Assembly 2008's Practical Information brochure. This Plenary Assembly was held in Sheraton Hotel, Krakow (address: Ul. Powisle 7). This FDC was sent from Krakow-78 Post Office(Urzad Pocztowy Krakow 78), which is the nearest post office (address: ul. Retoryka 16) from Sheraton Hotel.

Singapore Year of the Rat Minisheet FDC

This is a special Minisheet, It has Hologram image on both stamps. You could see Pig to Rat Hologram image in different angle on left stamp, and Rat to Ox Hologram image in different angle on right stamp. What a pity! My scaner couldn't scan its effect.

Do you know what plant are there on the stamp and FDC's illustration? Oak!
You know, The Oak tree is sacred to Estonians, so I think the designer used oak tree on the stamp and FDC which means Ernesaks as sacred as Oak tree to Estonians.

Russia The 225th birth anniversary of V.A. Zhukovsky PCBCS

This is my first real posted pre-stamped postcard. My Russia friend missed several chances to send Russia real posted pre-stamped postcard to me in 2007.
About this postcard, there is a harp on the illustration, I'm not sure what's meaning about it. I searched Zhukovsky's information online, I found he had a work - "The Aeolian Harp", I don't know whether they have any relation.

Could you find out? Most of Japan stamps are issued as a minisheet, and most of issues have 10 different designs. They are very beautiful.
Japan Post doesn't issue official FDC, but uses special cancellation on issue day. Japanese collectors must make FDC by themselves.

Finland Alpine Skiing FDC

This is a very special issue, but Finland Post didn't issue official miniature sheet FDC, only complete stamps FDC is availble. You know, the biggest hotspot of this issue, it is the largest stamp sheet made with MotionPrint technology to date.
By the way, this kinds of stamps is very hard to make a cancellation or postmark on it. If you use normal ink to cancel this stamp, I thought it would easy to scour off it.

Hong Kong Year of the Rat Imperforated Stamp Sheetlet FDC

The difference between the first and second Hong Kong Year of the Rat FDC is the cancellation. the first one used special cancellation which only uses for regular mail, so it's hard to find a registered FDC was cancelled by special cancellation. the second and this FDC were cancelled by normal postmark. Nothing special!

Finland Helsinki University of Technology Centenary FDC

Ukraine XXIX Olympic Games FDC

This is a excellent FDC.
1. The new issue stamp appears Basanavicius' figure, so my friend added an old Basanavicius stamp on the FDC for the additional postage.
2. This FDC was sent from Vilnius Central Post Office which is the nearest post office from Signataru namai (Signatory's House)

Russia The 450th Anniversary of Astrakhan City FDC

Russia usually uses their new issue special cancellation in 1-2 cities. For this issue, only Astrakhan city used special cancellation. so it's very diffcult to collect all special cancellation real posted FDC in Russia.
There are two cathedrals on the stamp and illustration of FDC, left one is Ascension Cathedral, right one is Trinity Cathedral.

Could you find out any problem on this FDC? I was very shocked when I received this FDC. You know, the Manifesto of Independence had been read out in Parnu on 23 February, so I asked my friend to send a FDC from Parnu on issue day by registered mail. We glued the enough registered mail postage and tell the post office clerk, they should use local postmark to cancel the definitive stamps. Finally, They sent it by regular mail and didn't use the local postmark. I'm so sad for their unprofessional work. But I appreciate their attitude and efficiency on their mistake.
