NEW eBay SCAM

Here is a new one on me, I received this through the eBay Message system from member budmonster1270.
"Hello, My name is Lucy Avian. I am interested in your item. The problem is that I am a very confused as I've seen another item very similar to yours. Please, have a look: hxxp://207.14.36.33/ebay.com/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.php?coins.listings.ebay.com/Coins-_W0QQfromZR4QQsacatZ45136QQsocmdZListingItemList "
When I copy the address and paste it onto an address bar it comes up with an eBay looking page wanting me to sign in, I was already signed in to get the message in the first place.
I think the account was hijacked and someone is Phishing for my (and probably a lot of other) username & password......what do yu think?

It's not an eBay account at all, just some guy who setup a duplicate looking site.

<< <i>Listen, never ever click on the some unknown link in email from a stranger. Don't even copy and paste it into a new window. >>
VERY VERY GOOD ADVICE!!!
I've had 1000's of them sent to my email and report them to spoof@ebay.com
This is the first one in the "MY MESSAGES" part of ebay that I've seen......which indicates it almost has to be a hijacked account.

<< <i>When I get something like that I just forward it to www.spoof@ebay.com >>
The email to this address goes into never- never land ..just wasting time ..I pointed out obvious phony ebay emails ..but they kept coming

I believe it is the unrelenting tenacity of the phishers to keep trying rather than eBay not doing anything. The reality of it is the phishers use hit and run tactics and by the time anyone gets to where the phisers have been, they're long gone and likely using another web site to find a new batch victims.

The phishing sites seem to get more and more complicated...I used to like going to them and instead of entering my username, password, and/or CC# like the fake site asked, I would enter a string of obscenities in each blank about the operator of the fake site and their mother and click the button. I doubt the reader of these probably understood the insults, since they were most likely located in some far-off non-english speaking country somewhere, but it was fun and it made me feel better. About a year ago, I tried to do this to one of them, but the site actually wanted a real credit card number, and wouldn't take the data unless you actually entered one. I decided at that point to no longer attempt to visit any of these sites...I just send them on to spoof@ebay.com and wait for the automated message to come back. I still don't know what eBay really does with these phishing reports...I usually get and forward the same phish email 2-4 times over a the course of a week or so...

My message came from ekennedy128 but was exactly same message as the other Ebay ID listed in original post.
unregistered IDs.
EBAY is way behind the curve on this. MANY members
who have reported this scam have received responses
scolding them for trying to do "off-EBAY" transactions.
T&S is now run by recent college grads who are totally
clueless about security issues.
The ONLY thing EBAY/PayPal cares about is collecting
fees.
Kinda scary that these scammers are out there in full force.
And yes, I do get those e-mails also. Like 1 or 2 a week.
