My 15000th post: Some words.

I won't say that I have any wise words. I have managed to waste a lot of time in this place in the last 3 1/2 years. I've learned lots about this hobby in the time I've been here. I have learned that collecting habits change over time. I went from half dimes to type coins to proof indian cents and now toward a mish mash of early copper, early proof copper.

I have sold coins and found that I really didn't miss them once I sold them. Just having the knowledge that I once owned a proof Morgan is good enough for me. I have found that my collection has gotten smaller and smaller with higher and higher quality coins.

I think that the most important learning that I have done is figuring out that I really love to take pics of coins. I have always been interested in photography, but never really knew what my niche was. It has gone from a hobby to a business and now a book (in process). The greatest part is that I can live vicariously through other people's collections. I can take my beloved pictures and I don't have to buy the coin. My virtual collection has greatly outgrown my real-life collection.

I have learned a lot about registered mail.

THank you for your time.

I'll do a giveaway sometime soon. I've got a couple of proof indian cents that may have to find new homes.
