I believe the above statement to be correct. It's been a while, but if I'm not mistaken, the verification or confirming of an address process, takes about 1 week or more. PayPal deposits 2 small amounts into your checking account & you will have to let them know the amount of each deposit. Again, its been about 7 years since I went through that routine..don't know if it's still the same...

I see all negatives:
Ignore the US Mint's designation? No Way!
Destroy Mint Packaging to get a PCGS Label that is the SAME as PCGS's arbitrary Date? No way!
Fold a truly first strike into the heap because PCGS has decided it will not differentiate? No way!
Pay $12 a coin in 100 Unit Bulk submittals for this "privilege" No way!
Jump through all of the PCGS hoops, that could change at a whim? No way!

NGC should announce today at noon...correct? I'm guessing that there will not be a minimum of 100 like pcgs. That way the covers can be cherry picked and only the 66+ sent in for grading.

The policy says "no partial product return" but I think by 'Product' it means 'Item" because it does state that you can't split up a proof set. So I think that means you could send back opened coin covers because they are a single item.

A question for ebay sellers and buyers. Since these "covers" come in a white cardboard envelope with P21 on them, shouldn't these command higher prices than the covers that are taken out of the cardboard holder and examined for edge errors but still in its cellophane?
If someone finds and error in the "first mintage" cover, I think they (white cardboard P21) should command higher prices much like unsearched dollar rolls out of Jacksonville.

I rec'd my sets and based on the quality I rec'd if a 67 is found I will be surprised. No special care or handling was used for this product. They are subjected to the same brutality as any other GW minted thus far. They were most likely pulled from an ordinary bin used to house all the other GW's that were rolled by Mint contractors. I do however, agree that unopened cardboard holders will bring a premium if they catch on with the general public. I have found better examples of the coins in rolls, although I've been through more than 7500 at this point! No 68's will be found!! Mark my words. At least no PCGS 68's I should say.

NGC-minimum 3 covers to submit. Send them in plastic shrink wrap...so I guess that means we can cherrypick. It looks much like the graded currency holders. If you want the coin only in a plastic holder only, one must specify to remove from holder and receive the "First Day of Mintage" tag.
Nice job NGC. I hope PCGS will modify and follow suit.

They don't necessarily share the same grade. From the NGC site:
If the coins are of matched grade, a single grade line appears. If they are of differing grade, two lines of text are used to describe each coin individually.
The coins in the covers DO NOT share the same grade.
There are 2 pictures shown one with the 2 coins the same grade and they will be 1 line designating the grade. If the 2 coins have different grades they will be noted on 2 lines.
PCGS may not want to be bothered with all of this (50 minimum) and i underastand their position as well, too. I'm just glad that one of them will let such a low minimum to be sent in to grade. Not all of us have a " pallet" of the next best thing being dropped off every week

PCGS isn't doing us a "service". They are in business to be "bothered" with this--that's their entire business offering! Grading coins! They should be happy to take as many coins (or as little) as people can send them. NGC has always catered to collector needs, while PCGS waffles in the wind. I dislike both services on principal, but if I were going to slab something in my collection I'd go with NGC before PCGS. There's a reason they're number one, and judging from the garbage I've seen in all TPG slabs, it's not their grading credentials. But it's a personal choice, and I understand why people favor one over the other

I read it to mean Modern Tier @ $12.50 a coin, either way you better pick wisely...
