LAST CALL FOR THE 2006-W $10 AND $25 GOLD. The half looks like it will come in around 6,500 coins a

GUYS THEY ARE GOING TO GO BLACK IN THE NEXT WEEK MORE THAN LIKEY. Its over for these coins and I think they will come in from 5,500 to 7500. The long rule of the 1991 gold is about to be shattered.........Pick up a coin or two if you can still afford it, because they will be great. Stay way form the single $50 gold...its a dog.

<< <i>So which will turn a better percentage? the 1/4 or the 1/2? >>
I'm leaning towards the 1/2.
It's a 'gut' thing.
Ouch!! I just took a look at my 'gut'.....oh my...and Christmas Cheer(another name for too much food) is upon us in full.
<< <i>I read in an article that if you bought one of everything from the mint this year it would cost just short of $15,000.00.
They just have too much to offer.
How much would they sell for on the Bay? My guess is its north of the cost. The spoons, yeh you would loose but all the bags, the reverse proof sets, etc have gone bonkers.
<< <i>So which will turn a better percentage? the 1/4 or the 1/2? >>
The 1/2 will have a lower mintage but I think more people will be able to afford the 1/4 especially after they sell out and the aftermarket prices go up.

I thought the same. When with the 1/4's

2 halfs and a fourth for me, my dad, and brother.
I figure absolute worse case scenerio they can't go below the price of bullion. So unless gold takes a nose dive, not much to loose.

$190 for the $10 eagle - right now a 1/4 oz eagle is about $170. Soon enough $190 will be cheap for a quarter oz. of gold in any form.
That said, the thought of thousands of these pouring into NGC and PCGS is a little nauseating..
!
Circ, check your calculator battery on the "close to bullion" estimation.

I think the US Mint is out to take us all to the poor house.
