Nothing sold for 2 weeks now (last item 2 weeks ago, I sold a 1909-S VDB in PCGS MS64RB).

This past weekend, I bought some common, cheap modern slabs. Nothing interesting, but...

    2001-S Silver Kennedy PCGS PR69DCAM
    2002-S Silver Kennedy PCGS PR69DCAM
    2004-S Silver Kennedy PCGS PR69DCAM
    2005-S Silver Kennedy PCGS PR69DCAM
    2006-S Clad Kennedy PCGS PR69DCAM
    1976-S Silver Ike PCGS PR69DCAM

Just working on some modern Registry Sets.

I bought a 1592 Crown from Transylvania. It has a portrait of a King on the obverse ( BATHORI) and 3 ships under a King's crown on the reverse. While raw, I would have to grade it an UNC. I cannot see any overt wear but also I cannot tell the difference if it was weakly struck in certain places. The coin is virtually mark free.

Totally original and you can see the whiskers in full detail on the face of the king. I fell in love with this coin and knew nothing about it, just paid the price.

I went out and ordered 3 Davenport books after purchasing this coin.image

A possible 1878 VAM-14.5 in PCGS G4, an 1890 VAM-15A in ICG MS64, a 1904-O PCGS 63PL because the price was cheap, and a mistake buy on TT of an 1878-S PCGS MS65 Morgan -- meant to bid on the VAM-26 (VF35). Never know on the last one. Might get a lucky surprise.
