LOOKUP BY PCGS NUMBER
Enter the coin number there. It will be the numbers to the left of the .66/ on the PCGS slab.
You have a chance of this working - PCGS does not do all that good of job on darkside coins.
If you are not a club member, provide the coin number and I will be happy to try for you.
My experience has been that calling or emailing to PCGS Customer Service for help is unlikely to provide an answer or response.

Whoopeeeee!! NGC's POP (Census) is only 3-4 years old. Although PCGS's requires some labor, it is at least automatically updated weekly.
<< <i>Mac are you saying NGC hasn't updated their pop numbers in 3 to 4 years? Is that true? >>
They have yet to add the 1911 1 franc specimen which I submitted at the pre-ANA in 2003.
Is there an 1874 1/2d. in MS63RB? I'll have to check some other semi-unique coins which I've submitted and which should be listed. I'll check them and check back later.
But PCGS' system is more clever even if there's no pop report.

<< <i>Greece has been updated for sure, but that's because NGC monopolizes this market and my fellow collectors are very demanding to say the least.

Nope, that 1874 halfpenny is not there either. Squeeky wheel gets the grease..................................
Has anyone attempted to compile a reference list of the various numbers cross referenced with the country and denominations to make looking things up easier? I realize that it would be a monumental task, but with a group effort...
Other questions:
1. Given that the population data is obviously online in some capacity, how hard would it be for PCGS's web staff to implement online population data similar to the way NGC displays it?
2. Why is NGC's online population data so incomplete/outdated? Are they really that antiquated as to require manual data entry, as opposed to having automatic feeder scripts from their inhouse data source to a population database on the site? Egads.

I submitted some coins to NGC at the recent ANA and they have come back and I see them posted under their pop reports.
