<< <i>Hey jacka$$, YES you do need to travel outside your state in order to make an informed decision. That is the truth and a fact regardless how many times you try to spin it from here on. >>
Don't be hateful because I am not a mindless drone who says 'NY is the best'. It's not the best. The northeast suffers from miserable winters and miserable late summers (humidity anyone?) Southeast (hello hurricanes!) Midwest (hello tornados!) Upper midwest (hello 50 below zero!)
As much as I love Oregon and Washington in Summer, it just rains too much for my tastes. Makes it beautiful to enjoy on visits, but I wouldn't live there.
Central california? Mild winters, warm-hot summers (dry, no humidity), moderate rainfall, no snow, no tornados, no hurricanes.
If I want to go to the beach, the mountains, I can do either within a couple hour drive. I can go to Yosemite (along with yellowstone regarded as the best parks in the country), I can go to 5 different pro baseball stadiums, 3 (soon to be 4) pro football stadiums, 3 pro hockey arenas, 4 different pro basketball arenas, and an infinite number of activities.
I am sorry you have to spend your winters indoors because the weather is so poor. I am sorry not everyone can enjoy California living like I can.
[q[Second, I am very happily engaged to a wonderful woman who actually enjoys reading these posts and laughing at you regularly. As for my family, few are left in this country, as they have either passed on by natural causes, accident, or by act of terrorism ( which your pea brained spell casting, pelt trading A$$ claims didnt happen ) The many family members I have outside of this country I visit often, as do they me. That would involve actually leaving not only your own state, but America too. Something I am now certain you have not experienced. >>
Well since you don't know my travel record, you are talking out of your ass (as usual).
By the way, she's laughing at YOU, and along with ME. Just thought you should know. >>
I, unlike you have never proclaimed my home state as the BEST anything. It is an ignorant, self centered statement to make. One which you regularly make, and never recognize.
You, on the other hand, were asked of your travel records. When having been asked you couldnt respond because there was NO travel records. If there were you would have responded accordingly and not made something up when pressed later on like you did.
I dont know many people who spend their winters indoors here either. Way too much to do and enjoy even in winter weather. Besides, why does it have to be warm or sunny to sit inside and play D & D ?
Oh, and Ax, I asked about your travel records, and you still havnt responded other than tell us places you CAN visit if you wanted, not actual real places you have been.
I too posted pictures of my significant other on here when the thread came up. I noticed about 100 other members post theirs. One person who I did NOT see post anything was you. Showing the picture of the woman that came with your wallet only works till you are asked for a picture of you and her together huh ?

You claimed id get a message if i PM'd you. I simply told you that you were wrong, that no such message exists.
and as for PM'ng you? nah, no need I can make you look foolish right here.
need proof that no such message exists? try and pm me. You were put on ignore after you had to cry to me about going to the mods. I had no idea I was put on ignore till you told me tonite. It was then that I tried and got no such message. so, you are either FOS and Im not on ignore or you have no idea what you are talking about. so which is it clown?

I didn't know I was being interrogated. I've been to the usual suspects, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada...traveled further east to Colorado, Utah, Idaho...did some travelling in Texas, OK, and all the way back to Tennessee and Kentucky.
<< <i>I dont know many people who spend their winters indoors here either. Way too much to do and enjoy even in winter weather. Besides, why does it have to be warm or sunny to sit inside and play D & D ? >>
For the record (as you are wrong AGAIN) I don't play D & D. And my online gaming comprises about 8-10 hours a week. About as much time as you sit there wringing your hands attempting to insult me (but always failing).
<< <i>Oh, and Ax, I asked about your travel records, and you still havnt responded other than tell us places you CAN visit if you wanted, not actual real places you have been. >>

You constantly instigate flame wars. You constantly derail threads. You constantly circumvent the bad word software. You constantly threaten people with physical harm. You constantly throw out attempted insults. You constantly resort to name calling.
You can't because it's all true.
Sounds like a bitter person to me.

No. Look at my home run derby thread to see WP derail that one.
<< <i>You constantly circumvent the bad word software. >>
Constantly? Hardly. Perhaps you can show 'constant' examples of these circumventures? And if they were as prevalent as you claim them to be, you wouldn't see me here posting, I'd be banned. Is that what got you banned from the boards, clown?
<< <i>You constantly threaten people with physical harm. >>
Constantly? I can count on one hand the number of times that offer's come up.
<< <i>You constantly throw out attempted insults. You constantly resort to name calling. >>
Look, it's not name calling and insults when it's the truth. When I call you a simpleton with the IQ the size of my shoe size, I am not insulting you, I am merely stating for all the world to see what a moron you are.

<< <i>Secondly, I do not believe for one moment that you own your own home unless it was inherited. >>
To be factual Ax does own his own home. He bought it from an old couple in the last two years. Now, as for the terms of the deal? You come to your own conclusions.
<< <i>Central california? Mild winters, warm-hot summers (dry, no humidity), moderate rainfall, no snow, no tornados, no hurricanes. >>
Earthquakes, wildfires, El Nino winters with resulting flooding and mudslides. You're under the gun like everyone else. Some would say the risk is greater since earthquakes occur without warning. Don't try to "out fact" someone who makes his living helping communities prepare and respond to disasters.
Here's a link to all federally declared disasters for CA dating back more than 30 years.
Now, before you go and say "well many of these did not happen in my area" listen up. They effect you. Your state pays for 25% of the damages to public buildings, roads and other facilties and systems. Guess who pays the other 75%? The federal government and U.S. taxpayers that you love to hate share the burden with the people of CA by paying that 75%. If you would like factual reference I point you to Part 44 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Add increased insurance premiums for both public and private property especially for properties that were not sufficiently built or retrofitted to mitigate the damage, and you pay no matter where you live in CA.
Don't worry, it may be quiet now in CA. Another El Nino is on the way. Remember 1998? Glub, glub.
