For the Rockets, when I was younger, I went to every game I could (normally 30 - 40 games a year). I'm not as much of a fan of the NBA today, so I don't attend as much; however, I still support my home team.

Don't be hateful because I am not a mindless drone who says 'NY is the best'. It's not the best. The northeast suffers from miserable winters and miserable late summers (humidity anyone?) Southeast (hello hurricanes!) Midwest (hello tornados!) Upper midwest (hello 50 below zero!)
As much as I love Oregon and Washington in Summer, it just rains too much for my tastes. Makes it beautiful to enjoy on visits, but I wouldn't live there.
Central california? Mild winters, warm-hot summers (dry, no humidity), moderate rainfall, no snow, no tornados, no hurricanes.
If I want to go to the beach, the mountains, I can do either within a couple hour drive. I can go to Yosemite (along with yellowstone regarded as the best parks in the country), I can go to 5 different pro baseball stadiums, 3 (soon to be 4) pro football stadiums, 3 pro hockey arenas, 4 different pro basketball arenas, and an infinite number of activities.
I am sorry you have to spend your winters indoors because the weather is so poor. I am sorry not everyone can enjoy California living like I can.

For the Rockets, when I was younger, I went to every game I could (normally 30 - 40 games a year). I'm not as much of a fan of the NBA today, so I don't attend as much; however, I still support my home team.

As much as I love Oregon and Washington in Summer, it just rains too much for my tastes. Makes it beautiful to enjoy on visits, but I wouldn't live there.
Central california? Mild winters, warm-hot summers (dry, no humidity), moderate rainfall, no snow, no tornados, no hurricanes.
If I want to go to the beach, the mountains, I can do either within a couple hour drive. I can go to Yosemite (along with yellowstone regarded as the best parks in the country), I can go to 5 different pro baseball stadiums, 3 (soon to be 4) pro football stadiums, 3 pro hockey arenas, 4 different pro basketball arenas, and an infinite number of activities.
I am sorry you have to spend your winters indoors because the weather is so poor. I am sorry not everyone can enjoy California living like I can.
