Like most collectors I have always been fascinated with the history and character of the Carson City Mint. The coins are almost all desirable even for the higher mintage lower grade pieces and the CC Morgans rule!!! So in Honor of this very Historic US Mint Located in Nevada................

Let's see some history folks!!!!

    Lol ... no kidding image 80% of my current collection comes from Laura, Rinkor, or Twitty. In the beginning, I was 100% eBay or Heritage ... but then I started to learn.

    Fletcher mine are mostly from Laura with the 78cc from Rinkor and the 83, 84 from Barry Stuppler. Still hoping to fill that "hole" shortlyimage

    Nope...maybe you can see it but I don't think anybody else can....comes up with a 404 error for me??? Anybody else care to click on Jim's link and see if they can see the image........that way we find out if I'm crazy or is it Jim image

    Here is a recent acquisition. 1884-CC is extremely common ..... except for this variety, VAM-7A. Leroy Van Allen puts it at R-6. Got it in PCGS 66, a full two points above the next highest graded (also PCGS and mine) that I have seen. Oh, before the grading police start, that is not a dig behind the eye but a die gouge, a feature of this variety.

    I see the difference I thinkimage your right C actually touches with the left shift where c3d does not

    I think some of the legend is weakly doubled on the C3d too, where it is not on C3e.
