Here's a clashed die obverse 77 CC Half that's at PCGS being graded as we speak. I just got the images back from Phil. Don't know the grade yet. What do you think??
The 77-CC that TDN showed is the finest known 77-CC Trade Dollar in existance. If one looks carefully, you can see that it is also the DDR variety. Check out the CC's and you can see the faintest traces of extra CC's in each of the primary CC's. Tough variety. I've seen this coin and it might be one of the most original coins that I have ever seen......never been touched. I think that it might be the nicest CC Trade Dollar on the planet (his 73-CC and 76-CC are both very close seconds).
