Yes I know, I am on the other side of the street, but there is a wealth of knowledge to be had on both sides. Do you like this one? Images are not messed with. Do you agree with the grade I have givin it? Debate away... Now only if this was a 1932 D..... Wishfull thinking...

Very nice luster. Welcome to da boards. Pretty coin but a few too many minor hits to ever be a 67.

I really don't think it would go 66 by today's standards, in a PCGS holder.

It's impossible to say for sure from a one dimensional photo. Never know till you try.

Personally, I'd agree with your grade. For a 56 year old coin it has tremendous luster.

after seeing some of the coins in 66 holders.. I would be shocked if this did not go MS 66

Too many hits to be a 66... looks like broken luster on the cheek as well as some evidence of hits... looks like a hit is the left field on the obverse and on the neck... all put together, a 65 at best... sorry.

You are going to tell me this is a 64? Have you seen this what is 64 holders? what happend to taking luster into acount?

Very nice coin--have always liked decade dates like 1950. I also think the photos are fine--agree with 65.

To many hits will outway the luster.64/65.

The luster is fine, it just seems a bit chatty for a 66. Remember, we're grading an image, not the actual coin.

64 because of all the hits on the forehead, temple, cheek, front neck, back neck, field noise

and eagle's chest, wings, high points of wreath

strike is ok but flat on WE and LAR and ICA and some leaf tips

nice luster, maybe 65 on a good day but IMO not 66

65 tops and that may be on an exceptional day... but lets listen to the Washington Quarter experts on this one...

I agree with most here that it has a few too many tics to garner a 66 grade, but it looks like a solid 65 to me.

Boy, unless they grade Washington quarters different than other coins, this is a 63 at BEST. I wouldn't buy a Mercury Dime with that many hits at any grade! I don't care how much luster it has. I personally don't trade hits for luster.
