PSST! wanna see a REAL Original Roll?

The word "original" is hardly original these days, as pertaining to coins. But, I thought I'd share a photo of this roll with you. I've had it for over 45yr. Picked it up from the Roselle State Bank in Roselle Illinois for $10 from a teller friend of mine, when I went in to cash my check one Friday after work back in 1961. Actually, I had a bunch of these rolls, but had to spend 'em to buy groceries. For some reason, I saved this one, and later put it into a plastic coin tube for safekeeping. I had forgotten that I had it until I stumbled on it while digging thru the old safe deposit boxes last week.

Nope...it's not for sale.

Very nice. Glad you could hold onto at least of them. Looks like someone had to work real hard to fit that end roller in there. Apparently it took several attemps with his thumb to get that sucker in there.

Other than counting them,. I haven't really looked at them. (I'm not very knowledgeable about "full bell lines"); besides, My eyes are lousy.

I may put 'em on EBAY after all, and use the money to buy my grandson some Savings Bonds.
