I'd buy every single PCGS graded 1966 Mint State 64 Full Step coin you can find for the price listed in the PCGS price guide. ($185)... Heck... okay $200 each.

1943 steel cent in Good-4 or lower grade (much tougher than it sounds).

    Two for me:

    1) 1995-W Civil War $5 in an ANACS OWH (Old White Holder) graded MS69
    2) 1996-W Olympic Cauldron $5, also in ANACS OWH MS69

Last two I need for my ModCom collection... Name your price image.
  • There are two actually.

    1.) 1883 Seated Quarter in the grade of 53 - 63

    2.) 1883 Seated Half in the grade of 53 - 63

certified by either PCGS, NCG, or Anacs

There is currently a PCGS MS62 quarter on Heritage. A little over a year ago there were a few that were on the market and the timing financially just didn't pan out.

    What I would buy:

    - 1873-S Seated Dollar (of course)
    - 1854-S $5 (of course)
    - 1864-S $10 in Choice AU
    - 1864-S $5 in PCGS MS65

I'm stopping myself there - I could easily come up with 50 others.

BTW Andy, I have a 1909-S VDB in perfect VG with a couple planchet flaws on the reverse. How cheap does your coin need to be?

  • 1838 Liberty $10 VF30 to XF40, NGC/PCGS/ANACS. Tough coin to come by.

One coin? That would be a nice natural 1795 O-128 bust half dollar in VF.

Right now a PCGS MS67 1971 Kennedy, or 1973, or 1990-D, or 1991-D. Been looking for them all for over a year.
    Now being until next payday.
  • One of the PCGS PR69DCAM Morgans!

Gotta be a J-1508. If it exists it would look like this:

A monster AT Coin with the blessed Madonna on it - bigger than life. The Doctor who created it could claim that the blessed Virgin took control of his lab while he created it. I would charge the pilgrims $1.00 eack to bow and kiss the NGC slab it was encased in.

I....was.... looking for an early ten. However, I'm now back in the "coins to bullion" mode again. I'm gettin low. I looked last night and I only have 20 definite "keepers" now.

    Save me. I'm .....melting.

A 1904-S Barber Half in PCGS XF45 especially if I can get it for 25-50% over grey sheet ask.
    Coast Guard Craig

Looking for Denmark 1874 20-Kroner. Please offer.

    Craig: There's a PCGS XF 40 on Ebay now @ BIN...better hurry.

    .............................

The one coin I would buy in a heartbeat...that's a tough call...as there are two:

    1) 1901-S Barber Quarter, in AU 58 - solid for the grade, nice luster, maybe some rim toning.

    2) Cary's 1898-O Micro O Barber Half Dollar
