Blue Moon Coins/Blue Point Collectables SCAM! PLEASE LOOK!!

I am new to the message boards but PLEASE take TIME TO READ THIS!!!!!
Blue Moon Coins and Kenneth W. Vilkin have cost me over 1,000.00
I am not fabricating or trying to defame him personally but am stating fact. In fact, i purchased 2,000 WALKING LIBERTY HALF DOLLARS (a full bag) for 5,757.00 on October 18, 2005. I needed one month to make the payment, which Kenny agreed to with gentlemanly grace. But after making payment on November 22, 2005 this company, and specifically Kenny, NEVER SENT THE COINS AND STILL HAVE NOT FULLY REFUNDED MY PAYMENT!!!
He refused to refund my payment in a timely manner and when he told me He did not have the coins, he used a bait and switch technique to offer me something else of lesser value.
He has as of January 13, 2005 refunded me a total of 25% of my original purchase price. When I asked for the full refund he told me "that is not going to happen." I guess he assumed I am a bank and that a "payment plan" or "installments" (a word he actually used) was good enough for me. Another thing I have also lost is the appreciation of the value in the silver since I "purchased" the coins back in October. If you DO feel like risking your valuable investment dollars, just pray to GOD that the value of your coin or coins goes down or stays the same because if it goes UP!! you will never see your coins or money again!
Ya know, I dont honestly know if he will do this to another person, however, there is enough evidence and history with JUST my situation to warrant you NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!
In fact, PLEASE do a search with the Washington State business offices because I had my attorney do a search for BLUE MOON COINS, Inc. (which is the business name they do business under on ebay and their own website) and there IS NO SUCH BUSINESS INCORPORATED IN WASHINGTON STATE!! You guys, THIS IS ILLEGAL!!
If you feel empassioned enough to question my honesty or point of view in this, please email me and I will send you copies of all our email conversations and how he has responded. JUST ASK THE HARD QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
I MAY NEVER GET THE REST OF MY MONEY BACK, I DONT KNOW, BUT IF I CAN HELP SOMEONE ELSE SAVE THEIR TIME AND STRESS AND HARD EARNED AMERICAN FAMILY DOLLARS, THEN IT WILL BE WORTH THIS INFORMATION.
By the way, I have recieved a response from a complaint I filed with the Washington State Attornery Generals Office stating the Kenny "will process a full refund the first week of January". I dont have it yet, but hope is not yet dead.

I wondered whatever happened to Blue Moon Coins. They could not be missed with their trashy ads with scantily clad gals heaving their breasts to entice hornballs to buy from them. I found https://www.columbian.com/news/2019/apr/05/vancouver-coin-shop-owner-4-years-prison-defrauding-customers-1-4-million/ on what became of the operation. So I searched to see what threads might be on here relating more. Didn't go through them all, but this one stuck out because it well preceded when the law finally started looking into them. What scum.
Did it again. Least there’s not 50 posts.
I didn’t notice until hooked so I’ve learned nothing 😉🦫🙀. 2006 😂
🎶 shout shout, let it all out 🎶
I miss the ebay pictures of his "items."
Years ago when I was working for HUD, I stopped by his shop in vancouver, and he tried to sell me on some 1873 seated liberty halves. I had very little money then, so I only bought 1
Wow! That referenced article was from 2019 and I had no idea that this happened so recently and that the law finally caught up with this guy. I recall the posts and stories from years ago, but not the recent sentencing. Score one for the good guys! As for those who were scammed, my condolences.

Ken Vilkin still going, bought or changed name to Coinssince1994.
Years ago Blue Moon auctioned some very nice high coins through Stacks... maybe 2015.. I bought a 95-s dime in 5 in the auction. Near complete sets of Barbers and Walkers were auctioned for sure... don't remember everything else.
Feel for the victims.

So who is “Blue Moon Coins owner Aaron Michael Scott”, as mentioned in the above linked Colombian article?
Holy thread resurrection, 16 years.
Check out my iPhone app SlabReader!
Note the BBB logo on the shop. The BBB is such a scam nowadays - shady businessess all over the country use them as cover, especially extended warranty companies.
So many dealers have come and gone, the shady ones went down in flames. One with a rough reputation actually didn't rip me off in the end as I said I would have to take legal action if they did not honor their word.
i remember the reverse proof ASE's they were media blasted as i recall ?
Old, old thread.... I wonder if he ever got his money back. I do recall Blue Moon Coins... and, much like other guys, mainly because of the advertising methods. Always wondered where he got the models.
Cheers, RickO
I bought thousands of dollars of gold coins from Bluemoon without ever a hint of a problem.
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
Kind of interesting. Took over 16 year to get a first reply to the OP's thread!
Does he still have the puffy shirt?

Kind of reminds me of Kevin Mitchell and coinuts.
Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value. Zero. Voltaire. Ebay coinbowlllc
I totally forgot about the "models"...
