What is your favorite circulated coin?

Mine is a nice AU 1913 T1 Buffalo. Not one particular coin, but any nice AU T1.
Something about a lightly circulated T1 buffalo.
They just look they way a coin is suppose to look.
There may be more attractive uncirculated coins, but a little wear on a T1 almost makes it look better. There are not many coins I would say that about.

Barbers, no question.
The beautiful early strikes on these coins are only enhanced by the nice brown color.

Hell, I don't need to exercise.....I get enough just pushing my luck.

There are 3 known and between 1975 and 1982, they were all in MD, the lowest grade (G) being the one that I owned. The finest known is a VF.
I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

They even look good in grades as low as AG!

Collect for the love of the hobby, the beauty of the coins, and enjoy the ride.
Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.
Any mid range circulated Barber - nickel, dime, quarter or half.
Mr Spud: Really like the photoshopped picture of the 1897 dime !!!!!

Mr. Ziggy, right on the money, thanks for the pic! Too bad it isn't a peg leg, though I have yet to see one (a 71-D peg) in my limited travels.
As to 100proof, fresh meat I ain't, unless you like your meat aged 64 years. But a novice to be sure and focused on modern dollars since that's about all my increasingly senility can handle.

There are some excellent choices here and Colorfulcoins makes a great argument but
I like a really nice G or VG clad quarter. It needs to be nice even wear on a decently
struck coin and they are none too common but a few layers of honest wear on these
will make everything but a gem look a lot better.
