Probably had a cleaning or two many years back, but 99% of them have.
$15 to $20 bucks I'd guess, but it's hard to to really tell by the picture.
I suppose you could dip it(gasp!!)and put it up on sleezebay and probably realize at least $40 or more. Who knows with the bay of E?

I think it is worth sending to ANA as a counterfiet for study.
<< <i>Any reason why you would think that it wasn't real? Sure it's real and I seem to like it more than Deadhorse does. I think it is a VF-20, maybe a 25 and if it has been cleaned it was done a LONG time ago and not badly done. (I do think the picture is a little out of focus.) I would be willing to pay more for a coin like that than the $20 that Deadhorse quotes and I've seen a lot worse coins at shows offered for a lot more (Not that they are worth it.) Of course Deadhorse could be quoting from the standpoint of what a dealer would pay, in which case I would probably agree with him. >>
I think it closer to F15... maybe VF20, but definately not more... I don't have my book with me at the moment, so I can't attribute it at this time... but it looks like LM-1... I'm just not entirely sure...
