My Flying Eagle (short) Set

How do you like my Flying Eagle Cent Collection? I don't have the financial means to include an 1856 so these three will have to do. It probably took me 500 hours (over several years) of internet searching to locate these coins.

I have Snow's Flying Eagle & Indian Cent Attribution Guide and would love to collect varieties, but alas the funding issue again. If I ever win the lottery (even a small payoff of a million or two) I probably will.

Although I like all three coins, the 1858 Small Letters has a very interesting die clash.

I've never responded to a thread thumb-upping individual coins before, but those look to be three very nice coins. It's encouraging to see some folks on these boars who have a well-honed eye for quality and a disciplined sense of patience for finding the right coin.

Thanks for the kind words. These coins are all in PCGS MS64 slabs. I believe they are all very high end for the grade. Extra Thanks to forum members Brian Wagner for the 1857 and Carl Wohlforth for the 1858LL (and Rick Snow since it is Photosealed). The 1858SL I purchased from a gentleman named Don Kolakowski (he has a web site that you can find by searching for 'Don-K's coins').
