I don't understand how a Lafayette Dollar fits in when we are looking for another Seated Half Dime, or any US coin dated 1857. Here is an 1858 Seated Half Dime. Next we want another Seated Half Dime, or any US coin dated 1858.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

Whoops, my bad. For some reason I thought the seated half was somehow pressed/planted into the Ike creating a half dime dollar. Now that I reread I see it was just used as backdrop. Lafayette taken down.
Ah, good. An excuse to break out my parachute. A parachute on a host coin struck 15 years before the Wright Brothers ever flew. How cool is that? (Yes, the parachute predates aircraft by centuries, but so what- I think it's a cool piece.)
I'll see your Seated dime AND your 1888 and raise you one love token. (So the next player may go with any of those three themes.)

From the next player, let's have a Seated dime or any 1853, or any dated love token/engraved/counterstamped coin.
Bueller? Bueller?
Ah, well.
OK, then. Howzabout 1853 or Seated quarter.

Who has a US coin dated 1857, or a Seated Half Dollar?
I forgot the rules, but this worn out Ike was laying around the shop long enough that I finally decided to use it as a back-drop for a classic.

Nice to know I can vanish for months at a time and come back to find one of my old threads on page 1.

Next play is any Seated Dime, or any US 1888 coin.
