And, to prevent a Morgan dollar frenzy, let's go off the beaten track again with a key date Seated dime love token.

    image

Next is 1881, Seated dime, or any love token that bears a date (either engraved or on the host coin- some have both and could be wildcards!)

1891, Seated dime, or any dated love token.

(Edit to add: if anybody here has the initials CEB, find me another 1891 love token dime and that one's yours.)

Now you can post either 1888 or 1887 (I think.....). image

Hey Lake! I was hoping to see your avatar since my last post was a FEC, but then I remembered the undated coin rule!

    Neat coin!

Coins with 2 dates are more fun than no date. image

Next play - 1863 or 1854 or seated dime or CWT (correct me if I'm wrong.....). image

    Gaah!

We'll have to work on that, won't we?

1863 or any Civil War token or storecard of the period with a date on it.

Edit- ha! JRocco was reading my mind and posted one while I typed.

Hmm... I wonder... is that one I posted actually 1868 instead of 1863? Hard to tell from my old scans.

That was a cheap pickup from a Darkside bulk lot I bought. I guess I sold it off as part of another (smaller) bulk lot. There were some nice tokens in the mix. Storecards and a couple of HTTs.

Eh, whatever. 1863 or 1868 or a dated token of the period, to the next player.

Back to 1857 to match the undertype of the above coin - IHC.

A "reproduction" Cal. gold coin (c. 1920s). Anything dated 1859, Cal gold or Cal gold repros to follow.
