  • Fantastic coin. Very lustrous looking. Tough to find Pilgrims looking this bright and sharp. A few scattered hits in the obverse field and reverse would probably make this one an ms64 - even though it has eye appeal of an ms66! Beautiful coin. image matteproof

Nice looking coin. Some light scattered marks here and there, and I think the grade is going to depend on the luster. 64 or 65

  • Hmmm...I could see it in a 64 holder, but 63 seems a bit harsh. Lucy, what were expecting on both coins? You have seen them in hand so I would respect your opinion more so than those of us who are grading off pics.

As coinguy1 continually reminds us, it is not possible to properly grade coins from images.

I agree the grade seems low. I would have gone for a 64/65. By the way, what is going on across the ENA in the word Tercentenary? Is that a nice little break?
