Just makes me laugh when I think about a conversation I had with a supposed seasoned dealer about 2 years ago who was buying some coins from me. When I told him about buying a roll of Unc Peace dollars for about $13 per coin he told me that Peace dollars would never appreciate in value.
That comment probably stopped me from buying more at the time.
Jerk.
Gold and silver are valuable but wisdom is priceless.
If you're planting be prepared for a 'L O N G' winter with storms/blizzards thru late April/May in the Midwest, Plow now and wait... Perhaps until next year!

Well, Friends -- now that AG has established a solid level at $34-$36, it might not be that risky to expect $45-$55 per ounce in the next couple of months/year; if it takes longer then you'd consider yourself a LONG term investor, WINK .... The world is getting crazy and precious metals seem to be a solid investment. These are simply my thoughts and observations with no backing research. Nothing except my own personal "Horse Sense" as many call it... VBG

Sorry for those who thought otherwise. I simply had a feeling in my bones that such a beautiful and HTF metal was vastly under-priced and deserved some attention. I simply tried to spread the word...

An equally good call on AAPL back on the first page of this thread.
It trips me out that Apple is the world's third largest company by market cap. The people that made the world's worst PDA now sell us our computers, our music, our phones, our gadgets, and are second only to Exxon in terms of value of US companies. Outright bizarre.
Thanks, it paid off our Home, the Harley Davidson, (new in 2005), a 'New Holland Tractor' which we use to do a little farming and snow plowing, 2 Jeeps, , and our entire Sears bill. Even though (AAPL) has gone vastly higher than what Jen and I sold at -- we're very happy to have held and bought whenever we could using Aneritrade.
While knowing there are those High-Rollers who would have called this a FAIL, selling at substiantly below what the current value is, but we saw two stock splits and got out deep in the PROFIT Zone...
In the end, I'd tend to beg difference, because we're comfortable and stress-free in todays business climate, and at 50 years old we're loving every day
