Old Retired Guy New To The Boards Says Hello

Hello!! Have been lurking out there for months learning from these boards. Finally found a question that I really wanted to answer about Mr. I. Kleinman out of New York. Could not resist trying to help. Anyway, I am a 58 year old, just retired dentist from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I have been collecting off and on now for some 50 years. Started with 3 Japanese coins my dad gave me from the war when I was 8. Have collected a little of almost everything at one time or another but I especially have enjoyed collecting CC20 dollar gold [years ago] and am currently working on some nice Walkers. I hope to help whenever I can. I enjoy the young folks especially. Will always try to be respectful of others here and do my best to give more than I take away. Thanks. Bob [supertooth]

I'm just east of the Mason-Dixon line from you. Always been impressed with the eastern shore, seems like such a nice place.

So how's retired life treating you? Got enough to keep you busy? I've been off on vacation all last week ( did nothing ) and I'm ready to go back to work tonight ( 3rd shift Chrysler Plant - Newark DE ) . I get so tired of going to work all the time but I do miss it a little when I'm doing nothing. Guess I should have actually gone somewhere - like New Hampshire!
Enjoy yourself,
Bob from Delaware

<< <i>Thanks to all of you again for the welcome. To Bob from Delaware----never been more relaxed in my life than at this moment. Oh sure, nobody is without problems, but I have managed to almost get rid of the "stress" and "responsibilities" of a 30+ year dental practice. Am now out of debt for the first time since I graduated from dental school in 1973. I can now play with my coins and enjoy the quiet of my woods----no people anywhere around me. Now, if only I can get better with this computer and learn to take some decent pictures. I am so slow to learn these things. My kids just laugh at me. But I hope to offer some decent advice on these boards and hope to continue to learn from all of you. I may be inept computer-wise but I will try to get better. Bob [supertooth] P.S. I type with one finger too. It is just such a shame to have had such a "narrow" education. >>
It's OK, Bob. I type with 2 fingers.

Hmmm, I am 6 years behind you.
I get to retire in 22 years.
I hope that you learn how to image some of those $20 CCs.
