Whatever happened to Mudflap? He seemed to have been a very active member at one time. It shows he hasn't been around since 2009! Reading a lot of these older threads, there are or were a lot of members that had post counts into the 5 digits, that I've never seen since I've been here....

This one is a regional issue. Smile can be considered to have 1 or 2 syllables. Where you live, does smile rhyme with dial?

(Edit to fix formatting into haiku reply like my previous one was)

    Regional issue

Where you live, does smile count

    as one syl. or two?

Please hyphenate smile for me. Exactly.

There is no regional issue, only a concrete rule of the English language since its inception. Way to go on calling a guy out because you pronounce it incorrectly.

    Five syllables long.

    Follows seven syllables.

    Which follows five more.
