Morgan Grade Please

Here is an 82cc Morgan I picked up about a year ago. The stain on the (S) in trust and the smudge above the (N) in unum are from the plastic. It's not a great one, but one of my best Morgans and doesn't come near to some I've seen here image

Thanks

  • Probably one of the nicest red Xs I've seen. No way is it AT.

  • LOL, gotta love those red X's. Try the link again I can't seem to get it as small than the required 50k. Some of the pics seen here have been huge too?

  • Hey! the red x disappeared and now all I see is a solid 63 (IMHO) Carson City. Nice coin--my guess is it looks a lot beter in hand--I really like the early CC Morgans. image

You guys are too conservative. The coin is an MS-64. It’s got a pretty clean cheek and no big marks anywhere.

The sad part is that coins like this are now creeping into MS-65 holders.
