Everything is worn flat in the centers. This is one of the few coins where the word "liberty" is not a grading point. It's among the last things to go when the coin is worn out.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
It's not worth more than Good. It looks abrasively cleaned. It's an extremely common coin in that year and much better examples can be had for relatively little money.
If that's the one you bought from me, it did not look cleaned in hand but anyway-- if you'd like to sell it back at your cost instead of taking your chances on ebay I'll retire it to my kids' collection. I'll be over toward you this weekend to do the lawn in St. J if it ain't raining. Same deal with your shield nickel -- option is there if you want it.

Edited -- sorry, didn't read well. Let me know if b/s/t doesn't work for you.
