Truly incredible detail on the reverse of this SLQ.

Very early strike from a fresh die? I've never seen one with this much detail.

Not mine. The coin has sort of a stark look. I love the reverse strike, but the ticky obverse and the stark white color would put me off. It just ain't a perfect world. image Usually, the reverse is so fuzzy on these coins that this one just struck me as amazing.

That's a really good looking SLQ. I'll be interested in seeing what the final price is - they seem to be dropping.

I think the obverse is much nicer than the Rev.
Thanks for sharing it. Nice coin!

The strike on the reverse is indeed amazing. Very nice detail.
The gash on Miss Dora's breast, however, really detracts from the obverse. Dang image

These type 1's usually have have a better strike than the type 2's, though, don't they? They have a whole different look, so you can't really compare the two. It seems to me that this is a pretty standard looking type 1. Or maybe I've just been spoiled with really nice ones image

Added: Oops...you said the reverse, didn't you? Yes, the reverse is pretty detailed!

I agree, different coin ... although the reverse is well struck on this piece, but this is not uncommon for a type 1 philly.

On a side note ... this coin has had the dip and strip IMO

This and the 30P are THE type coins of the series. The 17P is the best struck SLQ by far in the series. One in 65 with this kind of detail is IMO not all that unusual. I have one myself.
