PCGS has a genius on their hands, it may be an insane and evil genius, but a genius none the less. You are a great photographer Phil and PCGS was smart to take you on!
If you are in the Western North Carolina area, please consider visiting our coin shop:
Congrats and WELL DESERVED. Best of luck. Have HRH take you down to the Crab Cooker in Newport Beach if it is still there. It was quite a place 35-40 years ago.

Congratulations and welcome to the U.S.! Newport Beach is beautiful; I got married on the bay. Costa Mesa; not quite so nice. Hope you don't have to commute too far!
PCGS made a wise choice. Is your position a new one because I didn't realize that PCGS had a photographer. Will PCGS now offer a service where, for a fee, they (=you) will take pictures of coins? I've always thought that would be a cool service for PCGS to offer...and probably profitable for PCGS to boot! So, will we soon be cursing the picture turn-around time and wishing that lazy bum dh would get off his bum and get back to taking pictures? ( )
I don't really want to get into the details of my position lest I reveal something I'm not supposed to. You can direct your questions to Mr Hall though, he may tell you his plans for me.
