Had a little fun with my new "photolab" tonight. I hooked up my camera to a small 13 inch TV to act as a monitor and rigged a piece of aluminum cookie sheet to protect the camera from the heat of the Sylvania halogen bulbs and as a test took this pic. Again, no photoshop except to crop the pic. It's gotten too easy to take nice pics of toned coins and this one was nearly impossible before because of how dark some of the colors are.
I strongly suggest that if your camera has AV out capabilities, use them. It is so much easier to see how the pic looks on a 13 inch screen as opposed to the little 2 incher on the camera.

It looks like it was burnt off the coin.
pcgs 66rb although there is no brown at all. It's for sale if interested.
